I'll follow you -sonikal

It was quite a shock, "sonic?," she was what she managed to say in excited and surprised at the same time, she didn’t know what to think, when he winked at her, through her embarrassment she lightly blushed. Fidgeted her  fingers a little nervously, she look towards him " Oh right, about it before thank you, for helping me save chaos... I didn't get to say it before." she smiled gently and brightly at the same time, she was happy to see her old blue friend again and this time they didn’t have to save the world to do it, she notice she was forgetting something, "oh no! My chao!, sonic I lost a chao..."

Sonic chuckled and picked the little chao up from his quills "here she is...At least think it’s a she...” he stated the chao had found a nice comfy place in Sonic’s quills and fell asleep. "...Here… She deserves to be with her mom… you...are her mom right?" sonic asked a bit not sure how chaos really worked.

 She giggled at the sight of seeing the hedgehog confused, "oh thank goodness..." she took a breather of relaxation and smiled. ”I'm not its mother silly, I just take care of them, sonic I think it’s a girl..." she held her " every chao is different and mystical. She closed her eyes. I can see,  this one is  full of light, I think you should have her, who knows she may take after you." slowly handing the chao to him, " I think she really likes it your quills."

Sonic blinked but didn’t know anything about chao's but then again cream did so he could ask her "...mmmh,,,, I’m away a lot. But if you’re not its mother but take care of it....doesn’t hat technically make you its momma?" Tikal blinked back at him, she had never thought of it that way before 'I guess you’re right sonic..." her smile shone from her furry cheeks once again. he asked tacking the chao back and just looked at it before he looked at Tikal "..Hey..Tikal..could you at least tell me what a chao needs? I mean I’m not sure if my home is like. Suitable for a baby chao.. .’

"Well if your home isn’t I’m sure your quills are.” She gave out a light chuckle, of course she was kidding. “I’m sure you'll make a fine papa to her." Tikal thought about his question before answering it, I suppose taking care of a chao is like taking care of a baby, she wasn't sure if he was up to it, but something in those emerald eyes changed her mind once he looked back at her. "chao needs... fruit and they love to play with friendly animals, they learn a lot from other creatures... each chao is unique and has its own personality as well, as this one she’s special, she has some kind of power of light, they also enjoy singing and flying around... of course this one just hatched so it'll be a while before she floats around."  She tied her hands behind her back after answering his question.

Sonic nodded a bit "'mmh...well I’m worried Clio will get hurt if I run around a bit..'' he had an idea but just stared into her lovely eyes and just cleared his throat "...maybe..I could show you around sometime. That way you can visit a lot when you want to? See how she’s doing?" he asked then blushed the papa name processed finally in his head. "I’m sure...you don’t know what year it is and I want to show you around the modern world sometime...’’

Tikal thought about his question as she stared back him, her mouth drop a little in surprise, she didn’t know to answer that, she knew there wasn’t much left for her on Angel island, chaos is protecting the chao once again and knuckles himself was guarding the Master emerald, the master emerald will always be a part of Tikal, she could always sense when the emerald needed her,  it would call to her, it was her purpose and life, she was dedicated to serving it.  Listening the way the hedgehog spoke to her, she looked at him feeling hopeful, but weary. Could there be more to her life? Did she have more of a purpose? Besides her life here. She always wanted to see the outside world and go on adventures this is what she admired about sonic… but she didn’t know if she had that right. Tikal nervously looked down fidgeting her fingers once more; softy spoke “I’d love to see the world, beyond from here…  I’ve always wanted to, just… this place is all I’ve ever known, the emerald, the chao …” looking around around her “they’re my sanctuary; they’re all I’ve ever known.”   She swallowed heavily looking at his emerald green eyes that made her feel at home. His eyes made her feel safe, they’re were the color of the master emerald, “It’s just a little scary…” she said softly hoping for a response.

All sonic could do was just nod. He understood in all honesty what fear was, even when his cocky grins were smirked across his face still that beam of unknowing anything. It terrified even the bravest speedster himself. Sonic just held his hand out as if calling to her, beckoning her to take that scary leap of faith. "If it’s scary then I will protect you my lady" Sonic stated almost honourably. He knew of Tikal’s status in the ancient times, since she called out to him more and more, by what tails had done in the past was research Tikal as what he could get from the ancient ruins, and allowed supervalance by knuckles himself. This was his ancestor after all. Sonic then got up and just held his hand out "...if you're scared..you can just hold onto my hand. That way it won’t be as scary..Will it?" he asked cocking his head some not sure how scared tikal was really letting on. Her fear suddenly vanished into fin air, it’s as if his smile made her want to anywhere with him, it didn’t matter to her. Not noticing that sonic brought a light smile to her face, she’d follow him anywhere, at least that’s what she had thought through these past seconds. Everything about him made her safety feel reassured,

she could feel her cheeks  flatter warmly, he knew about her ancestry?, she wondered how many times she had shown him her past? Or did he study her past?  Watching him bow, her nervous stood up, as she held her hands close to her chest, she felt red,  so mixed up, she felt her heart beat loudly, she couldn’t take her eyes of him, as he stood back up, my lady? Her face flustered even more. It was like something from a dream. “sonic”, she softly whispered as he held out his hand to her, indicating  to go with him, nothing was scary anymore, expect for what she felt right now, she wanted to go for a long time and this was her only chance. Slowly letting go of her hands held to her chest, she reached out to his hand, it felt so warm and strong, nothing she ever felt before, shyly she looked into his eyes, holding his hand firmly. “I’ll go anywhere you go… I’ll follow you”.

The modern world was a scary place after all and sonic wanted to ease her into this world, maybe. Tails workshop would be a place to go to at least. To get Tikal’s foot in the water some.
